No. Only Excel spreadsheets formatted for XactContents® can be submitted and uploaded. Only these specifically formatted spreadsheets will be accepted.
Only .xls or .xlsx files are allowed to be uploaded.
After you create and review your XactContents® Excel spreadsheet, label it with either a file number, policyholder name or both. Save the file with that name. This will be the file you upload for conversion to an .esx file.
No. We do not review or edit the submitted spreadsheet. Make sure it is correct before you upload it. Once the spreadsheet is uploaded and paid for, no refunds will be issued if the errors were caused by an improperly completed spreadsheet. You will need to resubmit a corrected spreadsheet and purchase another file conversion.
Make sure there are no empty or blank rows in the spreadsheet. The transfer from .xls/.xlsx to .esx will stop at the first empty row and the items below that row will not be added to the .esx file. We are not responsible for errors to the .esx file that are created by errors in the Excel spreadsheet.
Any items in your spreadsheet that have a quantity of zero, will be converted to a quantity of one when transferred to the .esx file. It is strongly suggested you review your file before submitting and enter the correct quantity for each line item.
If the errors are determined to be from the the transfer process, contact us via email at adjustertoolz@gmail.com and we will correct your esx. file then email it back to you once we have reviewed and approved the .esx file.
We will convert your file and return it to you within 24-48 hours of recieving your order.
If you have already started or completed your building estimate, you will need to merge the converted .esx file with that active claim. If it’s a ‘Contents Only’ claim, you can use the ‘Copy from Project’ feature.
